"We have found the services of Supported Lifestyle Services to be very caring, understanding, diligent and very profecsional. I have no hesitation in recommending them as Carers for dad in his elderly years (87).  Dad has been in a Hip brace since October, and is going to be in it for at least another 3 months, his provider and carer understand his restrictions, Dad feels secure in the knowledge that his carers understand how to aid him in his daily needs.

Over the past few months they have cared for my father with professionalism, Dad is very pleased to have such wonderful carers, who put his needs first each and every time.  I have no regrets signing up with Supported Lifestyle Services, the management, the staff, and my dad’s needs have been met in every way.  They support him with meals, personal cares and home management, and friendship to boot. His carers brighten up his day and that means a lot to him.

"I have known Kerry  over the past 27yrs, firstly at Pukeora on the Nursing side, on the night shift then as Activities & Recreation Coordinator.  During which Kerry built a rapport with Michael and won his trust, Michael first went to Pukeora for respite care in 1995, and also went on Monday- Friday for physio, computer & speech therapy etc as a day patient. Kerry was one of the original staff at the Stewart Centre, so as a service for ACC clients with acquired Brain Injury Michael then became one of the first clients of the Stewart Centre. Michael progressed so well under Kerry’s guidance and developed new skills! Stewart Centre at EIT was in Hastings for 6yrs then 13 years at EIT in Taradale, so Kerry was with the Centre for 19 years in total.

 

In 2019 Kerry’s dream came true… When he started up Supported Lifestyle Services Ltd – Disability Service!  I then went to ACC & said I wanted to transfer Robbie over to Kerry’s Service – After a couple of months of going back & forth it got approved.
